Please read our linking policy carefully and make sure your site meets it before you request a link exchange with ithomeservices.biz.  Your link exchange request will be accepted or declined based on this policy.  We reserve the right to use our discretion when determining whether or not to accept a link exchange with your site.


Our site links primarily for traffic, we do not link only for rankings. We understand that all visitors leave our site at some point, and we choose to send them to quality link partners as well as back to the search engines.

If you want to know why we adopted this policy, it is because it brings us a consistent supply of free quality traffic, whether our site is at the top of the search engines or not.  This policy also supports our goals of:

We advertise ALL our link partners clearly, visibly and in an organized way. This is how we will advertise your site, all we ask is the same amount of exposure in return.

  1. Our link section is featured on every page of our site from the main navigation menu. Your link section must be advertised either from the navigation menu or clearly on your pages. Sorry we do not exchange links with sites who only feature their reciprocal links page from a tiny text link at the bottom of their pages. That wouldn't be a fair link exchange.

  2. Your link section:
    • cannot be an invisible or hidden page.  If we have to work to find your link section, we will consider it to be hidden.
    • cannot require logging in as a member to access
    • must be on the same domain as your site's homepage. If your site's domain (yourdomain.com) and your link section domain (linksrus.com/yourdomain) are different, your request for a link exchange will be denied.
    • must be on HTML pages and cannot end in extensions .cgi, .pl, .php, etc.  If there is a '?' in your links page URL, you might not be accepted. We sometimes make exceptions if your links page can be spidered by search engines and our link exchange software.

  3. We advertise our link section with the word "Links" so ALL surfers know our links are available. We will not exchange links with sites who hide their link section behind the words "Resources" , "Partners", "Link To Us" or anything similar. The link to your link section should say "Links" "Web Links" or something equally as clear.

  4. Our link section is a highly categorized directory. We make it easy for our leaving visitors to find your site. We expect the same or similar in return. Sorry we do not exchange links with unorganized or uncategorized link sections.

  5. We limit the number of reciprocal links per page to 30 links per page. We do this so your link doesn't get lost in a blur of text that a large number of links on a single page causes.  Another reason to limit the number of reciprocal links per page is some search engines would consider a site with too many links on a single page to be a link farm and penalize that site and all sites linked to it.  Who WANTS to be penalized?  We expect the same consideration in return. Your link pages cannot have more than 30 links per page.

  6. Your site should have no more than one pop up or pop under window.

  7. Your site should be written in English or have an English version that is prominently available to all visitors.

  8. Your site must be complete. Your link exchange request will not be accepted if your site is still under construction or is inaccessible.

  9. Your site must:

    • have mostly original content or
    • expressly state the primary purpose of your site to be an internet directory, search engine or similar function.

    We will not accept link exchanges from sites that can be perceived as link farms.

  10. You should have a clear and prominent link to your homepage located on every subpage including your link directory. This may seem like a minor issue, but a large number of webmasters do not include this link on their subpages. Your visitors must be able to navigate your site.

  11. Your site should be located on a domain that you own. Example: your url should be www.yoursite.com, not www.thirdparty.com/yoursite

  12. Your site should display a clear and prominent way for your visitors to contact your organization.   An example would be a "Contact Us" link on your main navigation menu.

  13. We link to sites of most genres, not just our own. We understand that for a link section to be of real use for a visitor it should bear links of more than one type.

  14. Our site is general viewing, sorry but we can not link to adult sites.

  15. We do not link with sites that feature Warez, Cracking, Pornography, Child Exploitation, Hatred,  Racism, Casinos/Gambling, Pharmaceuticals or any illegal content.  However, sites that feature prevention & prosecution of these categories will be considered for inclusion.

  16. You cannot engage in or promote illegal or annoying activities that would bring about negative consequenses to yourself or IT Home Services. Such activities include, but are not limited to: Spamming, Phishing and Fraud.  If you are found to be engaging in such activities, your link will be immediately removed from our directory and you will be reported to the appropriate authorities.

  17. Your site cannot be banned from any search engines. If your site is banned from Yahoo!, Google or any other search engines your request for a link exchange will be declined. If your link has already been placed in our link directory it will be removed immediately.

  18. We regularly send our leaving visitors to our link partners. All we are looking for is the chance of the same in return.

  19. We will never remove your link as long as our link is active on your site, unless you are found to be in violation of this linking policy.  If we ever move your link we will inform you by email. We check all partners websites regularly for our link. Cheaters need not apply.

  20. We class ourselves as quality link partners and are looking to cultivate real and fair linking relationships with other quality link partners.
